Newport NoteworthyNewport on the Levee has become an entertainment and shopping hub for Greater Cincinnati. Part mall, part tourist destination, the Levee boasts a multi-screen movie theater, a large game arcade, a comedy club, and many stores and restaurants. One of its major attractions is the Newport Aquarium. In addition to the first baby shark ray on exhibit in this Hemisphere, the Aquarium contains 70 exhibits including over 200 feet of acrylic tunnels where sharks and other species swim over, below and beside visitors.

The Levee, at the foot of the Purple People Bridge, also hosts many outdoor festivals and special events on its riverfront plaza.
