West Chester :: Noteworthy

West Chester NoteworthyWest Chester boasts the first IKEA to be built in Ohio. This celebrity Swedish home furnishing store is a huge draw in the entire city and beyond. Although Ikea has locations throughout Europe, Asia (Pacific), the Middle East and North America, before the West Chester Ikea opened, the closest Ikeas were in Chicago, Pittsburgh and Atlanta.

Ikea's popularity is built on their functional, affordable home furnishing products as well as a true concern for the environment (no paper or plastic bags here). The room displays are ever-changing, and the prices are enticing. With a play area for kids and a restaurant that serves, among other things, dynamite Swedish meatballs, visiting Ikea is far more than just shopping.
